This is a beatiful iron placque! We are so pleased with this purchase. After looking for months for the right size placque in all the stores in the Dallas area and after months of searching the web, we found this wonderful site and this placque. It has a nice weight to it, not like the flimzy ones we saw in stores, and has a rich finish to it. The size is perfect to hang over doors, pictures, etc... The finish is a beautiful bronze tone and has an aged copper look in the crevices. It also had a bracket soldered on the back for hanging.
